Partnership with Parents

The staff maintain a very close partnership with parents which helps to ensure that children are ready to take that all important step to their next school.

Children take their work home with photos on a regular basis. Parents are given helpful information daily about their child’s progress. There are parent interviews at least once a term to discuss general matters with the child’s key teacher.

We always appreciate parents' feedback. They are welcome to arrange an appointment with the Principal or Head whenever there is any concern about the child’s growth or development. Equally, the school may bring any issues that occur with the child to the parents’ attention. A newsletter is e-mailed to parents twice a term or whenever necessary.

Settling in:

New parents are very welcome to stay with their child at the start of their nursery experience. However we encourage them to leave as soon as the child is familiar with the environment in order to make the settling in period easier. Please be assured if a child becomes distraught we will contact the parents immediately.
