We are very fortunate to have a secure, well maintained and spacious garden. Outdoor learning is paramount in our school curriculum. We believe that being in the open air is physically and emotionally stimulating for children. It has a calming influence with positive effects on their behaviour. Activities include gardening, science, art and craft, reading, games and the opportunity to study all aspects of nature. 

The outdoors helps the children to integrate and build relationships. They have the opportunity to explore the natural environment, solve problems and be creative! Activities that involve a certain amount of risk encourage young minds to be active. Children may choose to play alone or with their peers.

In the summer we utilize the space for sports day’s training and one annual picnic to celebrate the end of the term with parents and friends.
